A great photo makes a great portrait. Here is what works best.

Do

  • Face the camera, with both eyes visible
  • Bright, even light (daylight works best)
  • Sharp and in focus, taken recently
  • Only your child in the photo, or one face that is easy to pick out
  • The original photo from your phone or camera

Avoid

  • Sunglasses, hats or hands covering the face
  • Blurry, dark or heavily filtered photos

  • Screenshots or very small images

    Great overall result

We are happy with the City Guardian Superhero canvas. The composition is strong and the portrait feels personal, although the crop was a little tighter than expected.

    Did not meet expectations

The City Guardian Superhero portrait did not match what I had in mind. The framing and overall look would need revision before I could display it.
