Photo guide

A great photo makes a great portrait. Here is what works best.

Do

  • Face the camera, with both eyes visible
  • Bright, even light (daylight works best)
  • Sharp and in focus, taken recently
  • Only your child in the photo, or one face that is easy to pick out
  • The original photo from your phone or camera

Avoid

  • Sunglasses, hats or hands covering the face
  • Blurry, dark or heavily filtered photos
  • Face turned away or seen from far off
  • Screenshots or very small images

    Beautifully made

We love how the Dino Rider portrait captures both personalities. It feels personal, playful, and special enough to keep for years.
