About Dovelie
Why we made Dovelie
Ask a six-year-old to draw their family and the dog is usually in it. Ask a portrait shop, and the dog usually isn't. Kid portraits leave out the pet. Pet portraits leave out the kid.
We wanted portraits that look like your kid — their real face, hair and smile — doing something a six-year-old would actually want to do: riding a dragon, singing on a big stage, walking on the Moon. And when the dog belongs in the picture too, there's a scene for that: Dino Rider, where your child and your dog or cat ride a gentle dinosaur together.
How it works
Pick a scene and upload one photo of your child (plus one of your pet for kid & pet scenes). Our AI places them into the scene as a realistic photo, keeping the real face, skin tone, hair and expression — and your pet's real fur and markings. In about 20 seconds you see the finished portrait — free, before you pay. Try a few versions.
When you order, a real person on our small team checks the portrait before it prints, and you can ask for free changes within 24 hours. It's printed on premium matte canvas in the USA, gallery-wrapped, and arrives ready to hang.
Our promise
You never pay for a portrait you haven't seen. If the canvas arrives damaged, defective, or different from the preview you approved, send us a photo within 30 days and we'll reprint it or refund you. No return shipping.
Your photos are used only for your portrait and deleted after 30 days. How we handle photos.
